ALF Addicted to Fashion: 36 sqm Exhibition Stall Design at GGMA Garment Fair Gandhinagar

Client: ALF

A single charcoal pylon holds the backlit ALF star at the corner and doubles as the only solid wall in the plan. Everything else stays open — white shelving carries folded stock in stacks, black square-tube frames stand free on the floor with garments hung at eye level, and a deep white fascia beam with recessed downlights ties the perimeter together. At the back, the exhibition stall design at GGMA Garment Fair Gandhinagar keeps a long white table and seven chairs.

Context

The Brief

Wholesale garment fairs are order-writing events, so the stand had to hold stock, hangers and a table where a distributor sits down and writes. Three open sides across 36 sqm is generous on circulation but leaves almost no wall to build against. That was the working constraint for the exhibition stall design at GGMA Garment Fair Gandhinagar, in a shed-roofed hall with flat overhead light.

The Challenge

That was the working constraint for the exhibition stall design at GGMA Garment Fair Gandhinagar, in a shed-roofed hall with flat overhead light.

What We Designed

Everything else stays open — white shelving carries folded stock in stacks, black square-tube frames stand free on the floor with garments hung at eye level, and a deep white fascia beam with recessed downlights ties the perimeter together. At the back, the exhibition stall design at GGMA Garment Fair Gandhinagar keeps a long white table and seven chairs.

03

Why It Worked

The pylon gave the stand an address from three directions while the rest stayed walk-through, which is what a buyer wants at a trade fair — no threshold, just merchandise. Hanging samples were reachable, folded stock was readable at a glance, and the long table let several buyers be written up at once. The garment fair stall behaved like a working showroom.
