Frecon and Themis Automation share a 36 sqm exhibition stall design at REI Expo Greater Noida

Client: Frecon & Themis Automation

Both logos share a cream wall, halo-lit in 3D and set far apart so each reads on its own. Below Frecon's half runs a row of backlit panels explaining pumping systems and PCB solutions, with the drives on a ledge beneath. Themis holds the right bay with a screen. Furniture in the exhibition stall design at REI Expo Greater Noida stays light - white chairs at a glass table, sofas in the corner, and a clear acrylic tank running a pump demo by the entry.

Context

The Brief

Frecon sells drives and inverters, Themis Automation sells panels and control systems, and both were sharing one 36 sqm plot. Neither wanted to read as a sub-brand of the other. The hardware itself is a set of grey boxes that explains nothing on its own, so the exhibition stall design at REI Expo Greater Noida had to carry the technical story on the walls.

Case Study

01

The Challenge

Frecon sells drives and inverters, Themis Automation sells panels and control systems, and both were sharing one 36 sqm plot. Neither wanted to read as a sub-brand of the other. The hardware itself is a set of grey boxes that explains nothing on its own, so the exhibition stall design at REI Expo Greater Noida had to carry the technical story on the walls.

02

What We Designed

Both logos share a cream wall, halo-lit in 3D and set far apart so each reads on its own. Below Frecon's half runs a row of backlit panels explaining pumping systems and PCB solutions, with the drives on a ledge beneath. Themis holds the right bay with a screen. Furniture in the exhibition stall design at REI Expo Greater Noida stays light - white chairs at a glass table, sofas in the corner, and a clear acrylic tank running a pump demo by the entry.

03

Why It Worked

Halo lighting on a plain wall is quiet from a distance and unmissable up close, which suited a 36 sqm three-side-open stand flanked by louder solar stands. Visitors read one logo, then the other, then the panels, usually in that order. The demo tank held people at the edge, and the sofa corner let an engineer's question turn into a half-hour sitting down.
