At Aahar the plot was 27 sqm with two open sides, backing onto a hall wall that could not be moved. This exhibition stall design at Aahar New Delhi had to hold a working equipment line-up and still leave room for buyers to stand and watch.

This exhibition stall design at Aahar New Delhi had to hold a working equipment line-up and still leave room for buyers to stand and watch.

Equipment sat on the perimeter, not in the middle. Low counters with stone-look tops run along both open edges at working height, carrying blenders, juicers, induction hobs and ovens left plugged in. A glass display unit with strip-lit shelves takes the crockery and smallware. Halo-lit lettering on the white fascia reads from the aisle, black track spotlights pick out the counters, and a screen plus a printed brand-partner strip fill the rear wall of this exhibition stall design at Aahar New Delhi.

Buyers tend to walk this hall looking for equipment they recognise, so putting the machines at the edge helped. People reached a counter before they reached a salesperson. The strip-lit crockery shelves gave a second reason to stop, and the open corner let two groups look at different equipment without crowding — practical for a 27 sqm product demonstration stand.
