Tecnik Gain Control: Valve-Led Exhibition Stall Design at Dahej Industrial Expo, Dahej

Client: Tecnik

Plinths ring all three open edges, each carrying one valve and the logo, so the range is read by walking the perimeter rather than by reading a panel. Inside, a mild steel pipe rig runs along the blue back wall with valves mounted in-line, and the niches around it are outlined in white LED. A magenta cove strip traces the fascia and the floor edge, giving the exhibition stall design at Dahej Industrial Expo Dahej a clear boundary under a bright tent roof.

Context

The Brief

Buyers walking the Dahej aisles cannot tell one control valve from another at a glance, and Tecnik's argument is about actuation and size range rather than appearance. With 30 sqm open on three sides under a marquee, there was little to hang anything from, so the exhibition stall design at Dahej Industrial Expo Dahej had to make scale and variety obvious without a single large graphic.

Case Study

01

The Challenge

Buyers walking the Dahej aisles cannot tell one control valve from another at a glance, and Tecnik's argument is about actuation and size range rather than appearance. With 30 sqm open on three sides under a marquee, there was little to hang anything from, so the exhibition stall design at Dahej Industrial Expo Dahej had to make scale and variety obvious without a single large graphic.

02

What We Designed

Plinths ring all three open edges, each carrying one valve and the logo, so the range is read by walking the perimeter rather than by reading a panel. Inside, a mild steel pipe rig runs along the blue back wall with valves mounted in-line, and the niches around it are outlined in white LED. A magenta cove strip traces the fascia and the floor edge, giving the exhibition stall design at Dahej Industrial Expo Dahej a clear boundary under a bright tent roof.

03

Why It Worked

The oversized cast valve body left on the floor at the corner stopped people, because its size answers a question no photograph can. From there the plinth ring gave everyone the same walk-around route, ending at the piping rig where the technical questions started. Sofas set behind the plinths in this three-side open booth kept those meetings seated and unhurried.
