Wafer line specialist Yujing: exhibition stall design at Intersolar India Gandhinagar

Eighteen sqm is not much floor for a company selling complete ingot-to-wafer production lines. Yujing had two open sides and a machine range that could never be shipped into the hall, so the exhibition stall design at Intersolar India Gandhinagar had to stand in for the factory: explain a process, put a real sample within reach, and still hold a meeting.

Yujing had two open sides and a machine range that could never be shipped into the hall, so the exhibition stall design at Intersolar India Gandhinagar had to stand in for the factory: explain a process, put a real sample within reach, and still hold a meeting.

Height did the work here. A navy tower carries the backlit logo above the neighbours and drops into a large screen, which freed the side walls for a printed sequence running from ingot preparation through slicing to inspection. A long glass vitrine on a white plinth, LED-banded along its lip, holds wafer samples at leaning height. Counter and glass table sit tight to the back of the two-side open stall so the walkway stays clear.

On a narrow plot the graphics did the first round of explaining and the samples settled the second. Visitors leaned over the vitrine and the team answered from behind it rather than blocking the entrance. Against pale neighbours, the dark header made this exhibition stall design at Intersolar India Gandhinagar easy to pick out from the length of the aisle.
