Windergy India 2026: Stall Planning When Your Product Is 100 Metres Tall

Mehul — Director, Approach Media · 10 September 2026

Wind energy has the most extreme version of a problem every industrial exhibitor knows: the product doesn't fit in the hall. A machinery exhibitor can bring the machine. A wind exhibitor brings… what, exactly?

That question is the heart of stand design for Windergy India 2026 — the 8th edition of India's wind-sector trade fair, 7–9 October at Chennai Trade Centre, organized by the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA) with PDA Ventures.

Solving the scale problem

Show the piece, imply the whole

When the full product is impossible, the credible fragment wins: a blade-root section, a gearbox, a bearing assembly, a nacelle component — real hardware at real scale, staged like the engineering it is. One substantial physical exhibit beats ten posters. Component and service suppliers have it easier here than OEMs, and should lean into it: your actual product on a plinth with disciplined lighting is the whole strategy.

Scale models and immersive media do the rest

For OEMs and project developers, precision scale models plus large-format screens carry the story — turbine ranges, wind-farm layouts, installation sequences. This is where AV earns its budget line: a well-produced installation film or interactive project map communicates scale no stall structure can. Plan screens, sightlines and content before stall design starts — our AV & technology integration service exists for exactly this sequencing.

The conference crowd is half the point

Windergy pairs the exhibition with a conference — policy people, project developers, financiers move between the two. That audience wants a conversation, not a product tour: meeting space with power, privacy and coffee converts them. Design the stall to serve both the hall visitor (visual, fast) and the conference delegate (seated, slow).

The timing is on your side

At publish date, Windergy is four weeks out — just past the 6–8 week comfort window, so a disciplined custom build needs a decision this week. If you're reading this earlier or for the next edition: the renewable-energy autumn is dense this year — REI Expo and The Battery Show India run 22–24 October in Greater Noida (our combined guide is here) — and exhibitors doing multiple energy shows should brief one design language across all of them. It cuts cost and compounds brand recall.

Chennai delivery, handled

Chennai Trade Centre is a well-established venue; as everywhere, the show's exhibitor manual governs heights, approvals and build windows. We deliver across India from our 30,000 sq ft Ahmedabad workshop — every stall 100% mock-up tested before dispatch, which is what makes long-distance delivery reliable — with fixed-price quotes and on-time delivery guaranteed in writing.
