Ask three exhibitors where their show is and you'll hear three names: "India Expo Mart", "India Expo Centre", "IEML". They're the same complex — run by India Exposition Mart Ltd in Greater Noida — and it's where a striking share of India's big B2B calendar lands. This September it hosted bauma CONEXPO INDIA; through December, three more major shows follow.

Two calendar quirks to hold in mind. In October, two shows share the venue on the same dates — REI and The Battery Show — so build-up periods, deliveries and hotel demand all double. Why organizers keep choosing this venue

The complex is purpose-built for large trade fairs and handles machinery-heavy shows routinely — construction equipment in September, textile machinery in December. For exhibitors that means the venue is practised at heavy move-ins and multi-day builds. It does not mean rules are standard: each organizer configures halls, heights, deadlines and build windows per show, and the exhibitor manual for your specific event remains the only document that governs your stall.

Planning a stall for a Greater Noida show

Location logistics, stated plainly

Greater Noida sits at the eastern edge of Delhi NCR. For visitors it's a planned trip, not a drop-in — which slightly changes stall strategy: people who made the journey are qualified by effort, so conversion infrastructure (meeting space, follow-up capture) matters more than footfall gimmicks. For exhibitors, hotel and travel booking early matters, especially for the double-booked October dates.

Deliveries arrive finished or not at all

Long-distance delivery to a tightly-scheduled venue rewards the builder whose stall arrives complete.
