India ITME 2026: Building a Stall for a Six-Day Machinery Marathon

Mehul — Director, Approach Media · 18 September 2026

Most Indian trade shows run three days. INDIA ITME 2026 runs six — 4 to 9 December, at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The 12th edition of the India International Textile Machinery Exhibition, organized by the India ITME Society, is the flagship meeting of India's textile machinery world — and its duration quietly changes every stall decision you'll make.

Publishing eleven weeks out, this guide reaches you at exactly the right time: the ideal booking window is open, including for double-deckers.

What six days does to a stall

Durability is a budget line, not an assumption

A stall that looks sharp for three days can look tired by day five — scuffed counters, failing lighting, carpet worn at the demo queue. For a six-day show, specify finishes for endurance: laminates and flooring chosen for traffic, lighting with service access, storage stocked for double the consumables. This is exactly where mock-up testing before dispatch earns its keep — our standard on 100% of builds — because a weak joint that survives a mock-up won't be discovered by day-four footfall.

Staff the marathon, not the sprint

Six days at full intensity burns out a three-person team. Plan rotations, a real pantry/storage area (not an afterthought corner), and seating your team can actually rest in. The stall's back-of-house is a working facility for a week — design it like one.

Running machinery is the show

Textile buyers want to see machines run — thread moving, fabric forming. That means power provisioning declared early, vibration and noise considered in your layout, safety clearances around moving parts, and material supply for six days of demonstrations. Machine positioning is sequenced with the venue before the stall builds around it — the same discipline we described for bauma CONEXPO's heavy exhibits, sustained for twice as long.

Mill owners buy slowly and return

ITME's audience — mill owners, technical directors, procurement teams — often visits a stand more than once across six days before a serious conversation. Design for the return visit: a meeting space that can be pre-booked, product documentation worth taking away, and a team briefed to recognize and escalate second-time visitors.

Your timeline from publish date

Eleven weeks out is the full-option window: custom builds are comfortable, and this is the right moment to decide on a double-decker — the 10–12 week runway fits exactly, and at a six-day show, an upstairs meeting floor pays for itself in ways it can't at a three-day event (the approval rules). By mid-October, that option closes.

India Expo Centre & Mart hosts a dense season — REI Expo and The Battery Show in October, PMEC India in November, then ITME. Build slots tighten as December approaches; our full venue guide publishes next week.

Where we fit

Textile is among the 9+ industries in our 6000+ stall record since 2002. Fixed-price quotes, 30,000 sq ft workshop, 100% mock-up testing, on-time delivery guaranteed in writing — and for ITME specifically, endurance-spec builds designed for the six-day run.

## FAQ

When and where is India ITME 2026? 4–9 December 2026 — six days — at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. It's the 12th edition, organized by the India ITME Society.

How is a six-day show different for exhibitors? Everything wears: finishes, lighting, consumables and people. Specify durability, plan staff rotations, and give the stall a real back-of-house.

Can machines run live at ITME stalls? Live demonstrations are central to textile machinery shows — subject to power declarations, safety clearances and the exhibitor manual's rules. Declare requirements early; retrofitting power is painful.

When should I book my stall builder for ITME? Now. At eleven weeks out, custom is comfortable and the double-decker window (10–12 weeks) is open — it closes by mid-October.

What does an ITME stall cost? The India range applies — ₹7,000–₹25,000 per sq metre custom, depending on design (full cost guide). Six-day endurance specs affect material choices within that range, not outside it.
